Everybody needs of Medicare some day in their life. We have to go to hospitals for some illnesses, accidents, dental problems, etc. There are two different kinds of institutions. “Public and private” Which is the best? Some people prefer to go to private hospitals, but others can’t have this kind of service because it’s expensive and they can’t afford it. “Evidence suggests that patients prefer and are satisfied with specific private services, and poor and wealthy alike use private health care. There are several differences between these two services, like the way they treat patients, timetables and equipment.

Health care in Mexico is delivered through social security institutes, Ministry of Health and related government facilities, and private facilities. In addition, the fist difference among these institutions is the way they take care of patients. In public hospitals, some nurses and workers don’t treat in a good way some people who go there; maybe because they have a lot of work and their salary is very low, so they don’t worry about patients, they just do their job when is necessary. On the other hand, private institutions are very different. There, people are kind and treat well to their patients, they have a better salary and there aren’t many patients in those hospitals, because of that, private services are better than public services.

Another reason why there are differences in these two institutions is equipment. Unfortunately, public institutions don’t have the necessary equipment that some sick people need, so they have to go to private hospitals to care of them. Therefore, people who always have the possibility to go private institutions don’t have this problem and they have the necessary attention in whatever kind of illness they have. So they don’t have to go from one place to another.

In conclusion, these two kinds of service are very different. All people have gone once there and they have lived the differences, so I think that public hospitals should improve their service in benefit of our society, because one day their relatives can need of this service. On the other hand, private institutions should be cheaper for people with less money. Everybody has the right to receive good attention.

Education has changed through the time, nowadays there are new institutions, programs, methods, techniques that help to innovate the ways to educate, however a tradition that has been criticized a lot by the society and has some points to favor and some against is single sex schools this is a controversial topic because it has several points of view, some people prefer mixed schools, where boys and girls can live together. In addition, single sex schools are private institutions that can obtain negative results for the students. This kind of schools have many disadvantages but for some people it is the best way of studying because they think that they have more advantages than to study in a mixed public elementary school. This essay explains more about why it is better to be in a mixed sex elementary school.

Private elementary schools can not be a good option to choose and to decide to study there, and less to think to stay in a single sex school, unfortunately in these kind of institutions are very stricted because of the rules that they have, and obviously every student has to follow all these rules exactly. The students can not behave as they are, because this can cause them punishments or bad grades. On the other hand, "an Australian study of 270,000 students found that boys and girls performed significantly higher on standardized tests when they attend separate schools"(cuote). This means that it can be better to be in a single sex school, because students feel more confident with their classmates, they do not feel embarrassed when they participate in any class and they get more selfesteem.

Boys and girls have different qualities and they act different all the time, but this does not meand that because of that they need to go to different schools. Boys and girls need to spend the time together to know how it is a boy or a girl, this is very important for their future, because sometimes they get confused about their sexuality, and they can not define what they want or what they prefer, boys or girls and finally they become in gay people. Also it is important when they are adults how to choose the correct person, for example to find a wife or a husband, because they already know how boys and girls behave, and they have the possibility to choose which is the best person. On the contrary, "according to a British study, concluded that nearly every girl regardless on her ability or socieconomic status performed better in single sex classrooms than co ₋ed ones" ( ) Maybe because girls do not complete a lot, like in a mixed school that boys and girls are competing all the time, to demonstrate who is better in all senses. And others studies say that "the concept of an all ₋ boys school implies girls are a distraction" ( .)

Another disadvantage of studying in a single sex school is that there the students are not prepared for the real world they can not know the precautions that they should take for example when a boy has a girlfriend or viceversa in those schools do not give conversations about sex, drogs, alcoholism, so this is very bad because nowadays they are topics very important for the daily life. However, "almost 90% of girls in mixed high schools are affected by some form of sexual harassment" ( ). So each case is very different, it mostly depends on the country, city and place where this can happen. It is more common that girls suffer this, but even boys are not free of this horrible situation. In whatever place girls and boys can be victims of different kind of abuse.

As a conclusion to study in a single sex school have advantages and disadvantages but I think that this option is not appropiate at all, because boys and girls have the right to spend the time together, to learn one of the other, to know more about the other sex, their behavor, likes and dislikes, like this everybody can have the possibility to decide what to do, to compete, to choose, etc. When boys and girls are together they can combine the abilities of each sex, to get something better for example in any subject, they share their knowledge and boys are very good for the sport and girls for art and handcrafts, so for all these reasons it is better to study in a separate school. And the best way to study is in a mixed sex school.
